The White River Mountain Range represents the most ruggest chain of mountains in Sparkling Creek Valley. They cover a small section of the southwestern border, and stretch over almost the entire southern boarder until they decline into low foothills and give way to pockets of marshland that lead on to the Requiems River Delta and the Ferral Sea.

Where the White River forms and runs down into the Valley, it acts as a visual devider between the Croal and White River Mountains. Another significant body of water associated with these ranges is Lake of the Havens, found nestled in the northwestern peaks, which forms part of the Avalanche Grove.
